Welcome to the GNOHIE
The Greater new orleans health information exchange
The Greater New Orleans Health Information Exchange (GNOHIE) is a community-governed health information technology infrastructure that facilitates the sharing of patient information across providers so that they can deliver the best care possible.
The GNOHIE network comprises more than 50 health care and social service organizations with over 180 locations across Louisiana. Our members include hospitals, primary care, behavioral health, socials services, jails, and more.
The Greater New Orleans Health Information Exchange was developed as part of the Crescent City Beacon Community through a grant from the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC). The GNOHIE is managed and operated by the Partnership for Achieving Total Health (PATH) – a 509(a)(3) supporting organization of the Louisiana Public Health Institute (LPHI).
